So a lot has happened in the past three weeks. I got over my cold. \o/ and went to the Ren. fair as planned. The thing was though, it rained. And that's not all. My friend Kate was driving with Maggie riding shotgun. Bad combo if you want to get somewhere on time. We took one wrong turn, turned around, got directions only to make another wrong turn and end up, guess where! OHIO! In the exact opposite direction of where we wanted to go. So we spent three and a half hours in the car with Kate and Maggie yelling "Suck my dick!" and "Large not-real penis" out the windows. Fun stuff, let me tell you. Jane and Julie were in the back with me. We had fun. We finally got there and watched these two brothers attempt to be German rap stars. It was kind of frightening. They were standing around before the show holding up two fingers and saying "German Comedy Rap Show! 4:15! Be there!" Apparently two means four to them. We did get to watch this awesome guy play what looked like a bell piano. I don't remember what it was called but it was really cool and my brother got a CD. I got a picture with him. I bought a dragon necklace and a purple ring. Should have gone for the sleeping dragon baby. Ah well. It was fun trip.

The next weekend we went to an ANIME CONVENTION! My first ever. It was small, but a lot of fun. We watched a game show and learned how to write fan fiction using dolls. My favorite parts were the improve show, the "Don't Be That Guy" panel and the Hare Hare Yukai dance! The Improve show was soooo fantastic! These four guys got did Ouran in 60 seconds then in 30 seconds then in 1 second. It was EPIC!~ I was way too into it but so was Courtney, so it was okay. <3 We had to stand for the "Don't Be That Guy" Panel but it was worth it. It was entertaining and we learned how not to be creepers. Hare Hare Yukai dancing was the best though. It was really hot in that room but the dancing was fun and should probably cover my P.E. for the rest of the semester. I've had the Hare Hare Yukai song stuck in my head for the past three days. The Lucky Star dance wasn't quite as fun. :/ We watched some amazing AMVs then we had to go. I was diappointed that we couldn't go on Sunday as well, though a friend said that it was just a bunch of screaming girls, but we missed the tea party! Very sad.

So we ran into a former friend of mine at the anime convention. I was friends with this girl for about three years before we had a falling out. She hurt me really badly, I'm not going to lie, but I didn't treat her very well either, so we're just about even. I haven't spoken to her since second year. For a while I was too angry and hurt to even be in the same room as her. I've seen her around sometimes though and I've wanted to say I'm sorry for a while now. I've even had dreams in which we're friends again and everything is alright. I have those kinds of dreams sometimes, when there aren't monkeys chasing me or spiders in my bathroom. When I saw her at the con. we spoke for the first time in almost two years and it was nice. Tonight my brother and I went to our old martial arts class and hung out with them. Nothings changed. She was there, though and we talked and laughed and joked just like we used to. When it was over I told her I was sorry and as it turned out, she wanted to apologize too but felt too awkward to talk to me just like I had. So we're friends again! And it makes me really happy that we can be.
